Vet & Groomer Recommendations Near Long Beach, CA Hi, anyone have any vet & groomer recommendations near the Long Beach area? I'm looking to change vets after Miloh's shots are done, since my current vet seems to only care about the money he's making. All advice would be highly appreciated, thank you!

What vet are you using right now? (So I know which one to avoid, I'm around this same area too.)

I'm currently taking Miloh to Firestone Animal Hospital in Downey. The only reason I decided to take him there was because I read several reviews claiming they have a friendly staff and a vet who loves animals. In additions, vaccinations are 50% on Saturdays, so that drove me to them. But the vet has done such a poor job with my puppy. We usually have small arguments due to his lack of communication and when asked any question, such as how can I clean his ears. Just to show me, he charged me $15. I don't mean to be so negative, but for the office visit, they don't even check his teeth, ears, or to make sure he is growing as he needs to, all they do is weigh him . Now for Groomers, I'm hearing good things about Wags & Whiskers in Long Beach, any tips would be more than appreciated.

| I go really really slow. If I feel like I'm going to mess up I stop. It's just hair and once I did leave him lopsided but within a few days his hair filled out. I just did his hair yesterday. I do his body with clippers (I like to have him nice and short) and his face/ears with scissors. For the first time in 8 months I'm proud of how I left him. Not perfect, but he actually looks cute!

These two seem to have good reviews on Yelp: Cats & Dogs Animal Hospital - Long Beach, CA Gentle Care Pet Clinic - Long Beach, CA There is also one down the street from me on PCH and Redondo, but I am blanking out on the name of it. I can't seem to find it on Yelp.
