| Pollen and CT... Not a good mix...even for a few minutes!!! Prince went out on the deck with me for about 10 minutes, now he's wheezing. I gave him his medication and he's resting now. We live in the pollen capital of the world and it's only March!!!

| OK, I may sound silly, but trying to understand does Prince have allergies and a CT? or can pollen affect with the CT? I am just curious as I have never delt with a CT, just have read about them. Last edited by brendah; 03-30-2010 at 11:22 AM. Reason: sp |

No, Prince doesn't have allergies, but he does have a collapsing trachea. CT is almost equalvalent to a person with severe asthma. A lot of allergens can cause a reaction...pollen, dust, too much activity, different household cleaners, purfume, cold air, to name a few. His condition is severe, but he has a lot of great days...we just have to monitor his activities and his environment, and of course give his meds, daily. Thank you...he is actually breathing a lot better now. I gave him his meds, and put him to bed.

| Poor little guy. I know he'd love to be outside and enjoy the nice weather.
