| My little princess is eating her poop I caught Jada eating her poop last week-end. I caught her again this evening. I have had her almost a year and this has just started. She is a little over 3yrs old. Why would this start all of a sudden. I did change kibble about 2 months ago to the Blue Buffalo small breed. Could that do it? I am at a loss unless that is it. She doesn't do it all the time either, maybe once or twice a week. Any ideas or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

| My Sofia did this for a while too. I changed her food to wellness and she seems to have stopped. I'm not sure why, but so far so good. |

| I also use Blue Buff small bred kibble, and have never had that problem.

| Mia loves her poop also, I am constantly picking it up quickly. Yuck. Then she want to kiss you YUCK YUCK. She is on Ivonna but when she was on Royal she did the same. Now that I am walking her she has less opportunity |

| Buzz did that, for a while...I actually started giving him more food, for a while, and he seems to have quit doing it...He got a little porky, but I'd rather him a little porky, than a little poopy mouth...I've cut back on his food, a bit, and he hasn't started up w/the before and after diet...I try to give him enough green beans and apples and carrots etc., to keep him from feeling hungry, so he won't go back to that horrible habit....yuck! |

| The 3 R's to Yorkie Poop Eating Reduce, reuse, recycle. LOL, my baby does it too, and it is so gross I have to make it funny because I hate this nasty habit.

| That's funny, I am just confused as to why it started so suddenly with her being 3. I feed green beans and carrots with her kibble and there are always bits in her poo,I am wondering now if she is just trying to get her veggies out

| Don't know if it will help, but I give the vege treats, in between their meals, throughout the day, so he keeps kinda full...have you tried feeding a little more kibble @ mealtime, or maybe she'll gain too much weight? I'm sure, feeding Buzz a little more (I do feed raw 'though) seemed to have helped...Or, maybe, he just got tired of it himself... |
