| Question about Orijen 6 Fish We are currently feeding our 4 1/2 month old Yorkie/Maltese mix Orijen puppy. It's about to run out so we were thinking of buying the Orijen 6 Fish. Is he a little to young for this? Or should it be safe. I should add he's already 10lbs at almost 5 months. Thanks! |

| I'm not sure, but just wanted to say i have just ordered Regional Red for my 6 month old Yorkie. It was either that or put her on a lower quality puppy formula for a while.

| the orijen puppy food has higher fat content than the orijen adult food; which puppies need while they are growing. i would stick with the puppy food till he is one.

| I actually contacted Champion Foods that make Orijen, and they said it was ok to put a small breed dog on the adult from 6 months, as the majority of their growing is done by that stage.
