| Spaying and anesthesia Our vet will be using an I.V. and once sedated, gas. Is this the norm when spaying? ( I vaguely remember my breeder recommending one or the other but can't remember which ) Is this a safe and recommended method? |

| It would depend on what is going into the IV and what gas is being used. Propofol and isoflurane or sevoflurane are generally considered safe.
