![]() What is the best food to feed a Yorkie? We have been feeding Trigger Little Champions and it seems to be making his stomach upset, mainly the beef. What should we do? Do we need to slowly change his food to solid?

![]() Like Breny said, I will just state what works best for Sasha. I use a rotation diet of high protein, grain-free food. I'm rotating between EVO, Orijen, Acana and Blue Wilderness. I also add a small amount of a homecooked recipe to both of her meals. Since switching to this type of routine, she has become less picky, looks forward to her meals and finishes all her food at one time instead of leaving it all day like she used to. Good luck in your search! You will hear many opinions here on YT as well as find loads of useful information.

| ![]() Breny is exactly right....you will get a TON of answers about food ![]() I am very serious about what I feed my Snickers. I honestly think I found the perfect food for him. I wanted something grainfree (grains can cause allergies but so can some proteins,) moderate protein level, and no fillers or controversial ingredients. We chose Acana ![]() Acana is made my ChampionPetFoods which also makes Orijen pet food and Orijen was awarded Dog food Of the Year in 2009. Acana comes in 3 varieties which is great b/c you can rotate. I truly feel it is one of the best kibbles on the market right now. Snickers LOVES his food and that is wonderful since I'm sure you know how picky Yorkies can be. I also feed raw, but that's a whole nother category ![]() Many of us use this website for insight on food quality: Dog Food Analysis - Reviews of kibble I would recommend only feeding a food that is 4 stars or higher. Acana is 5 stars ![]() Good luck ![]() Snick & Viv

![]() I feed Jackson Fromm Surf and Turf right now, and was rotating between Nature's Variety Instinct and Fromm but once we're finished this 5lb bag of Fromm... I think we're going to try Acana. The store I get his food from just started selling it and my friend uses it for her pups as well and loves it! She gave me a bit (I think the Grasslands one to try) and he loved it! He's so picky too. Fromm, NV and Acana are all he will eat so far and we've been through so many foods.

![]() I'm feeding mine Acana grain-free too. Sandy is on Glasslands and he loves his food. Once a week I will cook his favourite chicken mixed with rice and peas/carrots.

![]() Sophie likes and does well with Merrick's. I buy her different flavors everytime she finishes a bag. Sometimes I add a little of their Before Grain canned food to her dry kibbles. Check their website, they also have great treats.
