| ![]() I couldn't help but chuckle when I read about Sherman Tank.... We had a litter of 6 puppies. at 12 weeks three of them were just over 4 lbs two were under 4lbs and then there was BIGGIE, our nickname for him---he was 7.5 lbs and was my favorite... He had the best personality. He and the smallest female could get out of the pen we made them, he would simply jump over it and the little girl would hook her paw around the corner and swing her little body up and over the pen... I intended to keep BIGGIE, but a gentleman called and wanted one for his seven and four year old boys but didn't want a little one. After meeting with him, his mom and sons, I knew where BIGGIE should be.. |

| ![]() Chloe is our first Yorkie and I am slowly trying to gather information on them. I had Bulldogs before Chloe, but our baby is allergic so we went to a hypoallergenic dog and she does great with Chloe. Chloe is 17 weeks and at 16 weeks weighed 2 lbs, 6 oz. Her dad was 3lbs, 2 oz and her mom was 3 lbs, 10 oz at 2 years and 3 years respectively. Is Chloe way too small... now I am worried! |

| ![]() Thank you. I have followed the growth chart which has consitantly put her at 3.0-3.5lbs as an adult -which is what her parents are. Her grandparents are also in the family and are all small and have produced small puppies. Her father was bred with a 7lb yorkie and did have 2 pups reach 6lbs (they are a little over a year old). This is my first yorkie, but I was hoping she would get a little closer to 7lbs because my house is so busy! I will love her no matter what shape or size she is, even if she turns green! ![]() Quote:

| ![]() I think Suzi has gained weight after placing her on Wellness small bites . SHe , however, looks so much more healthy and stronger ![]() YES, those Dr scales have to be inncorrect , trying to weigh a wiggly dog. We all are aware the weighing part is always the hardest to see. As long as she is healthy , I do not see what the problem is . ANd she is not overweight. REmember to , that muscle weighs more then fat ![]()

| ![]() I have a wiggly dog, so my vet make me get on first (I get a freeby weight) and then me and my dog. Ask them if you can do that on your next visit.
