When I was told that Schatzie was diagnosed with LP I came home and did some research on it. I read that LP is very common in teenage children especially girls. Eric ~ I hoped it all worked out ok with your son.

| He was dx whenhe was 5. The doc told us it was commn in boys. Anhow, since we found out early, all he needed was therapy and he eventually grew back the "ball" in his hip joint.( It's when there is not enough blood circulation in the hip causing the ball of the hip to deteriorate.) Today he is 15 and doing great. Some aching now and then in the hip but that is the worst of it. Thank you for your concern. Eric |
