| YT Addict | do any of you feed your yorkie dry and wet food mixed together? If so, what kind to you use? I know some feed their babies real food, but I heard people food is not a good thing to feed them.

				   | I feed mine dry kibble bc the wet is not that good for their teeth. When I fist brought Pixie home I was mixing the wet and dry so that she would eat but I slowly took her off the wet.

				   | We feed all three of ours Nature's Variety and we mix a small amount of wet food in with their kibble. We also mix in green beans and they love it!

				   | It is a myth to think that Wet is now good for their teeth. We give ours a dab of wet and mic in the dry. Since she had a bout of Pacreatitis, we feed her Iams Low Residue with great results. I have fed my dogs for almost 50 years (I was just a kid) a mix of wet and dry. None ever had a problem with teeth and gums. The jey to the Yorkie is Dental care,,,,,and a deep cleaning by the bet every year or so. We just give the yorkie perhaps a 1/2 Tea spoon of wet, and then mic it with the dry. Also throw in a dab of plain yogurt and 1/2 of a Glucosamin Tablet. |

				   | Couver gets dry food everyday and just recently I have started giving him wet food about once a week. I just think that having the same thing everyday must be boring, so I'm trying to mix up his diet a tad. I also try to give him healthy treats- veggies, occasionally a piece of cheese, chicken etc. I figure, I like variety... so I'm sure he does as well

				   | I mix wet with the dry. I use natural balance and don't have a problem with loose stools. I free feed the dry but give them a lil bit of wet mixed with it in the morning. |

| YT 2000 Club Member | nope, because when I do they just licked the wet food off the dry. Mine get a few teapsoons of wet in the early a.m, a few teapsoons of yogurt mixed with either a few pieces of the NB meat rolls or fresh pet select and they have access to dry all day.. it takes them usually 3 days to finish a bowl of dry food that has about a cup/cup and half in it.

				   | Jackson gets a bit of wet food mixed in with the dry usually every night for dinner. He gobbles it all up.

				   | I boil boneless chicken breast and save the broth. I put a few drops of the broth on the Natural Balance dry (just to coat the dry food) I then add a few string beans and a small piece of the chicken. |

				   | I homecook and leave kibble out for them to nibble on. If I didn't homecook, I would definitely give them some canned food and provide kibble as well. My vet also told me that it is a myth that wet food is bad for their teeth. She described it as "kibble is no better because it's crunchy and gets stuck in their teeth like a granola bar does in our teeth".
