| Pancreaitis My yorkie is 6 years old she has had three attacks of Pancreatitis she vomits and has diarrhea. She never seems sick before the attacks. The last attack she had nothing but blood in her stools I didn’t think a little dog could lose that much blood I was terrified. She was given fluids, antibiotic, meds for nausea and pain. She recovered in about three days. The vet has her on MRX Hills I/D. After her first attack we stopped giving her any treats, table scraps ,chew bones. I do give her boiled chicken as a treat once a day. I thought that would be ok because chicken and rice is what the vet has me feed her when she is sick. She weighs seven pounds and the vet said she should weigh about 4 lbs, before this last attack the vet had her on MRX Royal Canine Calorie control 32 Hi Protein. Jezebel is not a picky eater is there anything I can do or feed her that will help. |
