|  I have had problems with kids trying to feed Maximo food even after I explained that the food could make him very sick. A 9-year old girl at a backyard BBQ was determined to give him some cream pie no matter how many times I politely asked her to stop.  |

| If I see someone about to give mine a treat, I just tell the person that my dog is sick and not allowed treats... which isnt totally a lie... Chloe has MVD and I watch her protein levels like a hawk. At the pet food store I go to, they are nice and give her something appropriate, so she is allowed to take treats there!  |
