Your thoughts on Orijen?

You could definitely give 'er a shot w/out the Parm....but he may be a little Parm addict after that ! But also what you can do is, over time, use less and less Parm once you get him eating and you settle on a food .

I have two dogs who love to eat! Not picky at all lol
To be honest I went into the holistic health food store armed with all kinds of information about Orijen pet food after I did some research on the internet. I had decided on buying the Orijen adult (no grains) and another bag of the Orijen 6 fresh fish (no grains) It is preserved with salmon oil and uses pototo as a starch not rice. I am dealing with a grain allergy with my minpin.
They talked me into doing a raw preformed patty diet from Legacy. I still think RAW is the way to go..but if I ever go back to kibble I will go with the Orijen ( Both Orijen and Legacy are made here in Alberta ..bonus!)

Okay, the Parm cheese worked. He is more interested in his food, but today he threw it up. He got a hold of some earphones while I was in the shower, and chewed the cord. He puked shortly after chewing on the cord. He ate the parm cheese last night with no problems. Do you think that the cheese caused it, or maybe the cord? I know it's hard to tell but I was wondering if anyone else had problems with the cheese?

The lactose might cause an issue, really depends on the dog..

Orijen/Acana is a great food.. We sell the little .88lb trail sizes they have.

Since he vomited right after chewing that cord...my guess would be his tummy is irritated from this. Did he consume some of this cord, or the earphone foam? Since he ate the Parm last night...I doubt he was sick from it today. I so hope he is feeling better . If you do think he consumed any part of these earphones, a call to your vet would probably help everything - you could run things by him/her .
