To be honest I went into the holistic health food store armed with all kinds of information about Orijen pet food after I did some research on the internet. I had decided on buying the Orijen adult (no grains) and another bag of the Orijen 6 fresh fish (no grains) It is preserved with salmon oil and uses pototo as a starch not rice. I am dealing with a grain allergy with my minpin.
They talked me into doing a raw preformed patty diet from Legacy. I still think RAW is the way to go..but if I ever go back to kibble I will go with the Orijen ( Both Orijen and Legacy are made here in Alberta ..bonus!
