| I'm not sure what my vet uses, I'll have to check. I was told our humane society here uses a universal chip that most any scanner can read and it's a one time fee of $20.00. Does that sound right? We do have a good shelter here locally. Would you allow them chip your dogs?

I don't believe in a monthly fee, as far as I'm concern there's no GPS chip to pay a monthly fee. That fee is for them to give you a courteous call that they found your dog instead of the person who scan them.

| Max is chipped with Avid. He was chipped by the rescue group where I adopted him. I have the certificate and the #, so I was able to change the information to my name.
