| Just curious about feeding schedule How old did you start feeding your dog twice a day? do you follow the dog food recomendations on the bag? My dog never eats what they say on the bag. she is on super 5 just for puppy by wellness It recomends 1 and 1/4 She usually only eats about 1 cup a day

| I try to free feed but daisy is almost 6 and chubby and she will steal Pixie's puppy food so I have to feed them in seperate rooms. If I leave Pixie's food in the ex-pen Daisy sneaks in there and steals it. So I have been feeding Pixie 3 times a day and about 1/3 c and she never finishes the whole amount. If she acts hungry I will offer her more though.

| I honestly can't remember when we started feeding Wrigley twice a day, she is the only one we got from a young puppy. We feed them Nature's Variety and we do NOT feed what it says on the bag. The two little ones, we feed 1/8 twice a day, but we mix in green beans, pineapple and a little bit of the wet food that matches the kibble. We could never free feed at our house, not with three dogs! lol!

| I have an adult and a puppy so I am feeding two different foods. I feed 4 times a day. I started this schedule when they were puppies and just stuck with it because it was convenient (really, because "they" wouldn't let me switch them to twice a day, LOL). They are so little and eat so little that it makes "me" feel better doing it this way.

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Izzy has access to food and water in her crate BUT she likes to eat more when she thinks that Twilight wants her food...I don't get it...They are on the same food...Twilight is still on the small side so I give them both Blue puppy but Izzy ALWAYS wants to eat from Twilight's bowl...I believe to Izzy, it's a game!! lol

| I think Zeus was 6 months old when I went from three feedings a day down to two. I do follow the guidelines on his food. He gets a 1/4 cup twice a day. Also a snack midday and before bed. |

| I did a search to find this thread, I was wondering the same thing. My pup that I'm bringing home next week is 6 months old, and I'm wondering how many times a day should I feed her? And how much? She's my first dog. I read that I should only leave her food out for 30-40 minutes, then take it away?
