| Help/Advice: Papi...new puppy eating habits I finally brought my new furbaby home on saturday!!...and he is a little character lol already!! He had a pretty good transition so far, Im just worried because he does not eat all of his food...is this normal?? but he drinks plenty of water and like chewing on the dental chews. Do I ruin his appetite with the dental chews? |

| Hello!! And WELCOME!!!!! You're new pup is so precious, I bet you're having a blast!!! What is his name?? Sorry your having problems with him eating. I actually would not give him anything besides his kibble right now. Being so small and still a pup, he can fill up easily on small things like dental sticks and treats. Also, more often that not, he will not eat all his food at a given time. Are you giving him meals or are you free feeding (leaving kibble out 24/7?) Smiles- Snick & Viv

| congratulations on your new puppy and welcome to YT. it's important that your puppy eats the amt of food that he should be eating. you should also have nutrical or karo syrup on hand for emergencies. watch out to make sure your puppy's blood sugar doesn't fall too low, or it can be very dangerous. Hypoglycemia Symptoms and Treatment good luck!

| Thank you!! Yes, his name is Papi and he is a lot of fun!! I didn't give him anymore dental chews and lastnight he finally ate all of his food. I am free feeding because I work during the day. So in the mornings we have play time and I give him is nutrdrops and some fresh food & water before leaving, then when I come home we have play time again, nutradrops, fresh food & water, and then we play a little more before bed time but I leave his food out til morning. Thank you to everyone for your welcoming and advice
