| He's driving me Nuts after shots!! Jackson got his shots and dewormer yesterday. The DR said he would not eat and be very sleepy. Not the case at all. He ate like a pig, but was pretty chill for a couple hours, but he was kinda worn out anyway. We went to bed early and at about 2am my husband accidnetly woke him up and he's been a holy terror since. I put him in bed with me. He tossed and turned just like me. I think we may have slept a couple of hours. Then he wouldn't go back to sleep at about 6am. I have to work at 10 so I am still trying to wear him down so that I can get ready for work and leave him sleeping till my husband wakes up. Has anyone else had this reaction to shots? It did the opposite. And I was really looking forward to a good nights sleep. Next time I get a puppy I will plan it to when I'm having a skinbaby too. At least that way I can kill two birds with one stone!! I'm going to be worthless at work today. He just now crawled up on my shoulder trying to get in his place to sleep and being super sweet not trying to bite my nose and lips and ears. I wish they made a sleep aid for puppies. |

| Sugar ate like normal after the shot, but she reluctant to sit down or sleep, she just stood there...looking tired as she rested her nose on the pen's steel bar. I tried to make her sit down but she refused, I guess the shot might be too hurtful to her hips, which made her reluctant to sit down! But this shot developed Sugar to another skill...which is "stand-sleeping" Anyway she back to normal the 2nd day

| Well, he finally went to sleep at my feet as I was doing my hair for work. I told my husband to move him into another room if he wakes up and won't settle down. I got really frustrated with him this morning and I feel really bad about it. He's so sweet. |
