| I just recently switched my furkids to Wellness from Blue Buffalo. My yorkies like it a lot. I do not think I will switch to any other brand.

| Mine are on Wellness. I have used the Wellness Core and some of the others also. I have not tried the Wellness for small breeds but might try that also. I won't be switching unless they get were they will not eat it. I have tried many foods and this seems to work well for them. |

My husband has a science background so he reads and I research the foods before trying new things. We just want to make sure our Kikyo has some variety every few months. We look real crazy in the dog food section discussing what's in stuff and people giving us the "yorkie look" - You know when they turn their head to the side like, "huh?" LOL.

| This wellness gave Jeannie ALOT of gas. It sounded like her tummy was racing. I may give the small breed bad a try and see if that helps. I'm at my wits end. I just want her tummy to be okay. |

| The reason I chose the Wellness small breed is because of it's nice small size. If I give her food with bigger pieces she treats it as treats and hides them all over! She seems to love the small breed.

| I made the switch from the puppy to adult kibble a few months earlier to due to some possible kidney issues, according to ER vet. I love Wellness, so I wanted to stick with same brand, and knew the adult formula had a slightly lower protein percentage. The switch was easy and had no digestive problems at all. Mocha use to inhale the puppy formula (which has a bigger kibble) and had lots of gas, but now it seems as if with the smaller kibble(adult) he actually chews it, I know it seems backwards, lol! So far so good with Wellness. . . BTW, we found out that Mocha doesn't have kidney issues that are long lasting, but his kidneys were bruised as a result of the recent attack by a Jack Russel Terrier! |

| I feed Wellness Simple Solutions to Lucy of an evening. Mainly because it is fairly low in protein and I have a hard time getting her to eat vegetarian food. I have convinced her to eat it plain for breakfast. She gets the Wellness for dinner; I smash up the kibbles because they are too big. She seems to be doing well on it; she just had blood testing done yesterday and everything came back looking great. |

how many times and how much do you feed. how big is ur baby. i will be feeding only wet (duck and rice) to start because it's easier to digest. then i will add a bit of dry food or give it to her as a treat.

| I think the dry food we use is the Simple Solutions Rice and Duck. Of an evening, I put about a teaspoon of the Wellness 95% Chicken on top. Because the kibbles are too big; I put them in a baggie and smash them up. (I've been sneaking in a little smashed up Vegetarian dry too and mixing it in with the Wellness. The 95% meats however, are not meant to be used alone; they are not nutritionally balanced; I think they are just used as a 'topping'. She eats officially twice a day (NB Vegetarian in the morning) and Wellness + Chicken of an evening. In between, I give her cheerios or a couple more pieces of the NB Vegetarian; or some yogurt treats I found. She's only 4 lbs so I try to make sure she doesn't go too many hours without eating. She eats barely a handful at each meal - she eats more of an evening (must be that canned chicken!). Regarding the canned 95% Chicken - my Westie also loves the 95% Lamb or Beef on his food. He also loves the whitefish and sweet potato canned but Lucy hated that. I'm trying to find her a canned fish she likes! This is a regime she seems to be doing well on so I hope yours' does too. Good Luck! |
