| Would I be better with an all stages food? Toby is 10 months and Maisie is 4 months. They are both on Orijen Puppy at the minute. When the bag is finished I will probably move Toby to a adult food. Problem is that they eat each others food. Its too hard for me to watch them all the time because they dont eat it as soon as its set down. So do I put Toby on adult Orijen and keep Maisie on the puppy version and accept that they will both end up with some of both. Should I keep Toby on the puppy Orijen until Maisie is ready to change too? Toby is very lean, almost verging on underweight, and he has lost a lot of muscle in his back end/leg because of the legg perthes, so it probably wouldnt do him any harm to get extra nutrients for a while longer. The other option is to move to an all stages food for both of them. Something like Acana possibly? We are limited with choices in the UK, but they both have very sensitive tummys so I want as little upset as possible. Some of the other better brands we have are: Fromm EaglePack Orijen (is Regional Red all stages? It is VERY expensive!) Acana

| Any "All Life Stage" food will be fine. Much of puppy food is marketing. |

| I feed mine raw, but if I fed a kibble, it would be Acana...I did a lot of research, before I switched to raw, and it sounds wonderful (the acana)...Only thing is, I think (not sure) the kibble is a little bit big for teensy weensy mouths...Bottom line, is any all stage food would work, as long as it's holistic, and your babes will eat it...And yes, I'd feed them the same w/their sharing issues lolol.... |
