| food ? again I know all of you are tired of hearing about dog food, but I am still trying to figure out a good plan. I like using 2-3 different drys, I can't use TOTW b/c of the fish preservative, but can I be safe with their other flavors? Then I like nature variety, BUT might have heard their rabbit comes from china, so, can I use another flavor? Now I want to go with acana, b/c it's lower in protein, just to be safe, But that has fewer proteins than orijen. Which 2 would be the safest? One more ? why is my name very light blue when others are deep blue, does it have to do with donations? What is a decent donation from members? Sorry about all the questions, I am just curious. Thanks for all the info. I get daily on my pooches. Tracey |

| Sorry, I can't offer any info....I'm right there with you. Trying to find a food that works for Zhoie. I have went through several premium brands, but still have yet to find one the relieves the watery eyes. I too want to try Orjen or Acana...I undestand it is the top of the line in premium foods. I want to get my girl off corn and grains, to see if that helps. I leaning towards Acana just because of lower protein factors. I'll watch this post to see the response to you.

| The only NV that comes from China is the raw food Rabbit. The kibble is perfectly safe and I've heard the co. that makes NV is super super clean (their factory) which makes me feel good about feeding it. I feed Jackson NV Instinct and Fromm Surf n' Turf, both of which he LOVES and he's always been very picky. Both are grain-free foods. Acana and Orijen are both very nice foods, in my opinion, and it's all a matter of preference with how much protein you feed. Jackson's foods are between 30-35% protein. Check out www.dogfoodanalysis.com As for your question about the names... yes I believe when your a donating member, your username is a different color. Any donations help the site! $25 gets you a larger avatar.

| Right now I'm feeding NV Prairie, and there are 5 different "flavors." Even my picky Maltese will eat it. My Yorkie pup is going to be a great eater, she will eat anything, but when I first tried the NV Prairie Chicken, she went bonkers. You can switch between the 5 flavors without transitioning, which is a big plus. The China sourced rabbit is only in their frozen raw rabbit, not in any kibble.

| My guys are on ACANA and are doing great!! The protein content is 33%...the food that they were on before switching them to ACANA was 24%. You can't go wrong with either this one or Orijen...both high quality foods!! |

| My guys are eating Nature's Variety Prairie formula. They love the Lamb & Oatmeal and the Beef & Brown Rice. Lamb is their favorite. They also love the Acana Provincial line (Grasslands and Prairie). Good foods for us so far.
