| Question about Zoey and her loose stools Zoey had a regular poop yesterday morning and then a loose one in the afternoon but not bad. Today she had a regular (tho large) one first thing and then 3 more that followed in the next hour that were VERY loose tho not entirely liquid and VERY light colored - would have to call them yellowish. I have a call into the vet but nothing yet. She is also still just sleeping which is NOT like Zoey at all. Not sure anyone has any insight and I do have a call into vet but thought I would give it a try. Thanks!

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Did she eat anything different or stressed out about anything? SOmetimes one of mine will have a loose poop for no apparent reason. If it lasts for 2 days or there is blood then I take them in. The pom puppy I am fostering has Giardia and Kaopectate helped firm her poop up. Hope she feels better soon.

| Well I don't think she ate anything weird but of course it could happen. She was spayed on Thursday and that is the only stresser but she has seemed very good. I looked at her incision this morning and it appears ok. A little darker pink around the stitches themselves but nothing unusual. Thank you!

| My vet just called. He said to mix in plain yogurt with her kibble tonight and then if she continues to have loose stools (she just had another and it was diarrhea at this point) in the morning, to bring in a sample and come in for meds before the holidays begin. Hopefully this is not anything serious.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | The foster pom was spayed Thursday too and when I picked her up Friday morning she had massive diahrea. They said anesthesia can cause it plus she has Giardia so we switched her medicine and gave her kaopectate and she has been fine since. It seems like if it was from anesthesia it would have shown up sooner. Maybe ask your vet what dose you can give her. it really helped Angel.
