| Update/ new med for Callie Ok so we had taken Callie to the Emergency vet at 2am Thursday morning because of her leg/shoulder well later on that day our regular vet called us to check on her and said she thought we should have her look at it so she wrote us down for an appointment late in the day on Friday and said we could cancel it at anytime if we felt Callie didnt need it. Well being a worrying mommy I wanted her to look at Callie because I just really didnt like the Emergency vet and being Callies mommy it seemed she might be in pain to me. So we went to our vet and the vet found the hurting spot and Callie cried out twice when the vet found it but she checked her so much better then the Emergency vet and like I thought Callie was still hurting so she gave us and anti inflammatory/ pain medicine and I was wondering if anyone has heard or it or used it, its called Metacam? In two weeks we will be going back and she said she will xray it again and see how its doing and if anything will show up then on an xray because it didnt at the Emergency vet. She said that all jumping and running needs to be limited as much as possible and if it seems to get worse to bring her back before the two weeks. We went to petco and got stairs for the sofa and I plan to order stairs for my bed.
