| Training--Diet question Hello all! I just adopted a new yorkie into my home about a week ago! I love her already For the first week I had her, I have been letting her free feed and watching her habits to get to know her, and to let her get used to me. I am now starting to potty train her and found a "schedule" method that I think should work. However, I am concerned about her getting enough food. Since she is used to free feeding, she doesn't eat much at her scheduled time for food. How do I ensure that she is getting enough to eat? Thank you! |

| I would free-feed her until 7 or 8 months of age. Puppies need food to be available at all times to prevent hypoglycemia, especially if she is small. How old is she?
