| I am sure he is fine. When my dogs were younger they had several bowel movements too.

| I have two yorkies and each of them go 3-4 times a day. I even switched their food to Nutro because someone said that would help, but it hasn't. |

| I have a 13 and 16 week old...and have raised a number of Yorkies to adulthood. I find the average is a 3 to 4 at this age. The more digestible a food is, the fewer and smaller stools a dog will have, according to the vets and dog food makers. At 8 weeks they will have 5 to 6..by one year, mine rarely have more two per day. |

| I believe the food they eat does make a difference. I'm slowly switching mine from Science Diet to Innova and I notice he doesn't poo as much as before. Mine is 13 weeks and he poos 2 or 3 times per day. I feed him twice a day and a snack in the early afternoon. I'm not sure if free feeding causes yours to poo so many times per day. I was told by my vet not to free feed and feed twice a day. |
