Running out of anti-itch options - will moisturizing lotion work???

Really? How come anti itch shampoos always say oatmeal? Or is it just for allergic dogs it's not good? I've been using Biogroom anti itch shampoo and it has oatmeal. I've seen lots of improvement in Uni's coat.

allergy dogs have an issue with it and it can be very drying so many allergy dogs do not do well with oatmeal sadly yet it is in all the shampoos so it is frustrating. I think allergy dogs do better with hypoallergenic shampoos at least that is what i have seen on our allergy yahoo group as well as with my dog
