| Puppy Food. I feed Natural Balance to my dogs. They like it & there was a noticeable difference in their health after I started feeding it. Now I have puppies coming & they don't have a puppy food. The company claims the NB is for all life stages. I am not comfortable with that so I am feeding my pregnant one puppy food (due next week) but haven't found one she likes. I am a label reader & the ingredients in the puppy foods don't impress me. I would not be comfortable starting my puppies on Natural Balance. Any suggestions?

| Innova puppy food is pretty good. I've done a lot of research on puppy food and have found the Innova brand is one of the best. Royal Canin brand has corn gluten meal as the 2nd or 3rd ingredient I believe and I was told this brand isn't the best. Also, Blue Buffalo is another brand that may be pretty good, it was rated one of the top 10 foods in a magazine (can't remember the full magazine name but it is something like dogworld/dog something). Hope this helps. |

| Thanks to all. Think I will try the Chicken Soup puppy first, I have heard that was a good one. Hope my babies will like it. Thanks again.

| The Natural Balance is also good for allergies, I have one that occasionally had to have a shot to stop a frantic itching. He has not had any problems since I started Natural Balance. I have not tried the Nutro Ultra but will keep it in mind. I like to mix foods to give them a different taste. The energy level also has increased in all my dogs & they just seem to be so much more healthy with NB. Thanks.

| I use NB for my pups. They are always fat and healthy without feeding a special puppy food. |

| Anyone with feed back on the Solid Gold brand? I have heard that it's very very good, but of course would like more opinions! Thanks!
