YT 2000 Club Member | Acana and Orijen Becoming scarce?? I have read on another forum that both Acana and Orijen were going to be harder to find because of production issues? I know that they have made a few changes to the Acana grain free foods, (from what Ive read, they are positive, Ive done nothing but pet food research for weeks ) maybe thats why? The bag I just recieved says "wild prarie" instead of praire harvest and it looks a little different then the ones I seen online. I do know that petfooddirect.com has been out of stock on the Acana for awhile now. I didnt have to much trouble getting the bag I got but Im wondering if I shouldnt order another bag just in case? (i dont have a local seller ) Has anyone else heard this???

| This is alot to ask, but would you mind posting a pic of the "Wild Prairie" bag you received. I have never seen that and their formulas are very successful that I am shocked their packaging and names would change with out any notice or mentioning on their website. Don't worry if you can't...I'm just so curious to see this new bag. -Snick & Viv

| The ingredients online compared to the sample bags I have differ for the Grasslands formula and the Prairie formula. God....I hope Snick will like the new formulas if thats what my feed store is now carrying. He LOVES the original formulas. I guess we'll cross that bridge when we get there.... Snick & Viv

| It might depend on where you live. I live right in AB where the factory is and I can't find some of them. I'm feeding the Acana small breed formula right now, the babies love it. |

| At least I believe it's made in Alberta. You mustn't mind me too much, I'm kind of a dork today. |

| Yes, I have heard that. The store where we get the Orijen 6 fish that Sophie eats said it may be hard to find soon because of some issues, but it should work out eventually. I hope so or we may have to switch if we can't get it! |

| They actually only added duck to the Grasslands formula. It seems the changes are positive, more meat, and they changed around the order of the ingredients so that there is more meat. I'm ok with it I guess but I PRAY Snick will eat it when it comes time to buy the new formula. We still have plenty of the old formula left and I have contacted my food store to see if she has any older formula left so I can go and get it. Holiday huggies- Snick & Viv
