EVO Dry Food.. I am switching Maddi`s dry food to the EVO brand. My question is, is what one is better for a Yorkie.... The Red meat small bites or the original small bites? I searched the forums for this answer but didn't find it. Does anyone else feed this to your baby? Thanks!

| Hello!!! Welcome to YT!!! You are going to LOVE this site!! I fed Evo for about 6 months and for about 4-5 months Snickers liked the original. Then Snick got tired of it and I tried the red meat bites and he liked that for a while as well. He did very well on this food We now have switched to Acana (Prairie Harvest & Grasslands formulas) since Snick decided he didn't like Evo anymore. He is loving the Acana now and I use it for him to snack on in between his raw meat feedings. It's referred to as a rotation diet (raw w/ kibble.) Good luck with Evo Snick & Viv

I rotate between high protein, grain-free kibble. Sasha ate the EVO small bites and really seemed to like it. I haven't tried the EVO red meat yet, but I will once she goes back to EVO in her rotation.

The EVO formulas are all great! Personally, I like their new herring and salmon formula best...can't wait to try it. Any of them will be a good choice. I feed a rotation diet including EVO...mine loves EVO, although I haven't noticed a huge preference in flavors!

I homecook for my two, but also free feed kibble. I use Evo small bites and my little ones love it, especially Dromies. Let me tell, you she never ate kibble until I started with Evo.

Wow from the sounds of it I lucked out with my little one. She really isnt that picky. She likes a certain wet food and that has to go with her dry. She is a good eater. If I let her have it her way she would be the largest Yorkie on this planet haha. And no she doesn't get table scraps... EVer!!! She gets lil baby carrots as a treat most days but when I feel like giving her a "cookie" I have these organic ones and also these ones the we could eat ourselves..( Im still trying to get my boyfriend to test this theory out lol). The only reason I am changing her food is because I feel like maby the food she is eating is helping her have dry skin. Her coat looks good but I guess will look better after the things I have read. So I am just hoping this will help with a little of her dryness. She does get oils but some days are worse than others. I have read some posts that this food has helped their dogs skin. Also my cousin uses this food and he swears by it. He has been trying to get me on this food since she was a puppy. Now hes all happy as a clam that I am finally caving haha.
