| YT 2000 Club Member | Thanks everyone for responding. . My dogs too loved merricks, but they are very sensitive and apparently there was something in the turducken that they had issues with. I still think its a great product and will continue to recommend them and that food line. I am still waiting for my grain free food from them, it takes up to a week then I always introduce my dogs slowly to a new food so it make take a few weeks before I can actually reveiw the product. ..

SO much for making the switch slowly. He didnt have any poo problems this morning so Im guessing it did ok on his tummy. The peices are way bigger than anything they have eaten in the past so I have cut them in half and I mixed some more in their food this morning. My toy poodle didnt take to it yet as good as Tucker did so we will have to see how they do. I still am waiting for my samples of Grain free by Merricks, which still probably wont be here untill the beginning of next week (downside of thier company) by then they may be eating the Acana and if they do Im sticking with it. I am soooo tired of the dog food battle.

| I just picked up some of the Merricks before grain yesterday! I have a small boutique around here and I was in there chatting with the gentlemen and he was telling me I should give it a try, that Merricks has been rated a #1 food some where, I can't remember what he had said. But he said the before grain products were awesome and that Chicken and Buffalo were good choices that he's heard they are the tasty ones. So I got one of each, he sells small 1.1lb bags for 3$. I mixed a bit in with Zach's kibble and he ate it all up as well as Lola ate it too. It smells pretty good for dog food and the kibble pieces are tiny. Just perfect. I really hope that they do well on it because it really looks like a good kibble. |
