| fingers crossed for NO puking! So Layla has pancreas issues- we have consulted with a new nutritionist and are slowly starting to introduce oils back in Layla's diet. This recipe called for a total of 2 tsp of oils (different types). I only put in 1 tsp- this batch was divided into 4 days worth of food and then she only ate about 1/2 of the batch (as i mixed it with a food that did not contain oil). Now if history is going to repeat itself- she will puke sometime tomorrow. That is "usually" what happens if Layla has an oil. However, in the past I put it right on her food the day she ate it, right before she ate it- not sure if freezing it first will change anything. The amount just seems SO small- i can't imagine it bothering her and i HOPE to God it doesn't. Those with pancreas dogs- was introducing oils a problem for you? |
