| shedding, scratching, and licking Do yorkies shed? Lately I have been finding small patches of hair where Hannah spends a lot of her time at. What causes this? She also licks her paws? What causes this. She also scratches under her chin and near her back. I am currently feeding her Natural Balance . |

| The main protein/meat source in her kibble might be making her itch or she might have environmental allergies. Have you ever had on her on a dofferent food where she scratched/shed less? Snick & Viv

| shedding, scratching, and licking my girl Abby has been doing almost the same thing .so now i am trying to check out all her food sources. she was raised on Royal Canin yorkie 28 and then switched to weight control 30 cause she ia a chow hound and i also have 2 cats so i must watch her all the time. I got linitone supplement to put on her food once a day to see if it will help her skin. i wash her bedding with hypoallergenic liquid I have cortisone spray for hot spots. lastly i use oatmeal shampoo and a miosturing cream rinse. I never had a yorkie before and i am trying to do the right things to keep her healthy and happy. I hope you will get it all straightened out soon. GOOD LUCK, ABBY'S MOM |
