| Fromm Surg and Turf Does anyone feed Fromm Family Surf and Turf? I am thinking of switching to it bc Acana is changing the recipe. Also, has anybody tried any of the Froom Family canned food and do you know if they have a grain free one? I try to keep some canned food on hand because one of my girls refuses to eat if I am not there and can sometimes be bribed with wet food mixed in with her kibble. |

| My health food store gave me a sample of Fromm Surf and Turf, I love the company but Snick would not touch it. He won't eat certain things with fish in them. Luckily he LOVES ACANA so we are sticking with it. Are the GOING to change the formula or they already did? Did you read about it or saw the labels differently? There was a thread about the labels not matching on the sample and large bags....I hope they are not it worse, I did read it was changing but for the better/same. -Vivian

| I was in my pet food store yesterday and they don’t have any of the new formula in yet. I talked to my breeder about the change in formula and she has already switched her dogs. She said that every time a company has a “new and improved” formula it is because they are trying to make it cheaper. I am a little worried about it as well. Anyways, my breeder switched her Yorkies to Fromm Surf and Turf and I am going to check it out. However, I am also going to look at Nature’s Logic and possibly Innova (that is what the woman at the Pet store recommended) So we shall see. It is just such a pain because one of my girls is SUCH a picky eater! And she seems to like Acana more than she has liked any other dog food. |

| I feed my girls Fromm's Surf and Turf and they love it. They are doing well, have normal appetites and normal stools. I free feed but I also give them a small bowl of dry food with either scrambled egg or cooked 93/7 hamburger mixed in for their breakfast and supper. I had no trouble switching them over but my girls aren't picky eaters. Innova is also a great food but we wanted to go grain free so we went with the Fromm's Surf and Turf. Oh, and I might ad...the Surf and Turf is very tiny bites. Last edited by my2boyz; 11-09-2009 at 04:05 PM. |
