| My six month yorkie hasn't lost any of her baby teeth. Adult lower canine teeth are completely in and top front teeth are coming in, in front of the existing baby teeth. Is this normal? |

I just had Apple's two top canine teeth out...they were side by side her adult canine teeth...Apple just turned one year old...One vet said I could wait 'till she was a year old to see if they'd come out on their own.....The vet that pulled the teeth (she was getting spayed at the same time) said they would have been in there for a long time...She gave me the two teeth, and the roots were twice as long as the actual tooth, and weren't even beginning to get loose...I think this is pretty common in yorkies... | |
