| lamb or chicken? Just wondering if lamb and rice is better than chicken and rice in dog food. |

| Depends on the dog If allergies are a concern, sometimes lamb is better because it is less likely that a dog has eaten it, but that doesn't really make it better...

| I agree- depends on the dog. Layla is VERY allergic to chicken- so if you are worried about allergies- lamb is a more "exotic" meat and it is less likely for your dog to have an allergy to. |

| Max just likes lamb more than chicken. I guess because it is something different. Chicken seems to be in a lot of stuff (kibble, canned, treats,...).

YT 2000 Club Member | my dogs prefer foods that have duck, chicken, turkey, etc in it over any other kind of food. The wont touch lamb at all, so it really does depend on the dog.
