| Yea, some won't send samples through mail. But, I think Merrick's has a 1 pound bag for like $4 or so. I couldn't find it so I ended up buying a 5 lb bag and returning it when mine wouldn't eat it. That was the only brand I had to do that for, though. All the others I was able to get samples of. NB is good about samples - if I remember correctly they will send you a TON! I have several bags of their samples in several different formulas. |

| We are switching Jack from Nutro (he was on this when we got him and got a bag with him) to Halo dry and Halo Spot's Stew moist. He absolutely loves them and they are made with all natural ingredients, no byproducts, etc. I believe Halo is the brand that Ellen Degeneres promotes.

| He wouldn't eat today at all, so I had to get my swifter mop out. He doesn't like that mop (or any type) and once he saw that, he started to eat. Once he didn't, so he saw his food got thrown out. Am I wrong for doing this~? I am not forcing him to eat, but in a way I am, and maybe he's not hungry. Should I just let him eat on his own no matter what food I choose~? |

| I use the mop and scoot his bowl around or just touch it and then he eats like real fast thinking I am going to take it away. If I put my hand there to take the bowl away, he doesn't care. But he does if someone other than me does and then he starts eating. What else can I do~? He wants constantly to play ball so he can get treats from me. I can't give him treats all the time. He's 7 lbs, and is healthy as the Vet says. He never eats the whole bowl anyways, which is two scoops (1/4-1/3 cup). |

Not sure what brands you're interested in Veggienut, but Good Dogs & Co on Frankfort has samples of Fromm & Canidae if you're interested in trying those brands. | |

| I just ordered a $20 sample package (it had at least 20 different samples) of all different healthy natural dog foods from Luke's. We did a buffet taste test and will now be using Innova and Acana Order the sample pack and feed the best food that your dog likes...that's my suggestion |

| The Natural Balance kibbles are so very tiny, like pop corn to him. He ate a bit, but went more for his food tonight. I've switched him to "Blue" from "Royal Canine". If he smells now the little of what is left from the "Royal Canine", he walks away from it. Seems like he enjoyed nibbling a bit of the Natural Balance duck & sweet potato and his "Blue"...kind of like us humans.... a variety of foods on our plate make it more enjoyable. Do you all agree~? |

| I feed mine a mixture of kibble. I am feeding Natural Balance and Innova Puppy mixed together. Mine LOVE the turkey roll, too. They get them as treats or when they need medicine. Blue is a good brand, too. Glad to hear he is eating!! |
