| Underweight! Need to gain some! Over two months ago our little one had diarrhea for a week and we brought her to the vet. They gave probiotics and it cleared up. A week later she chewed and ingested a black Kong while we were gone. We rushed her to the vet, induced vomiting and then the rest passed in the week and a half following. during that time she has severe diarrhea and we were given antibiotics and I also bought over the counter probiotics and began yogurt with their dinner. The dirrhea cleared after the second week and then everything was fine. Now for the past 3 weeks she has been fine and then suddenly will have awful diarrhea again for two days or so. Then she is fine again. It seems to come randomly and with no warning (both to us and her). My question is, because of all the diarrhea she has been loosing weight like crazy! What foods should I give her to get the weight back on? Thank you for all your suggestions! |

| Take her to the vet. It's not normal for her to have diarrhea for something that happened two months ago. It's scary that you think she's had enough of it to loose weight. I don't want to give you medical advice. There are 100 ways to put weight on her. You need to get a vet to make sure there isn't something else wrong. I'm sorry, not what we want to hear. I'm also surprised she ripped up a Kong. Is a black one softer? I've never had black ones. Poor baby. |
