My little girl yorkie puppy (7 months old) won't eat any food we offer! She will eat canned food, but canned is not very good for their teeth. Do you have any recommendations? What does your yorkie eat, and is she a picky eater? Thank you so much for taking the time to answer this question! I appreciate all responses.

My yorkie has always been a picky eater, and could find nothing that suited her...I finally started her on Nature's Variety Raw Medallions, and now I'm wondering if she is getting too heavy lol...She loves it, and gobbles her "one" medallion per meal, and looks up at me like "where's the rest"...That's the only bad part But, I guess, really, it's better for her that she likes a really quick tasty meal, rather than not liking the kibble at all...

How much does she weigh? If she is of good size, I would give her a small amount of the canned food, then just leave the kibble out for her, if she gets hungry she will eat. Try for more than one day. I would not do this if she is tiny though. Most dogs will eat the purina puppy chow. When I golt my first yorkie, I had 5 different brands of food that I would set out for her.

The pumpkin is worth a try, cheap, and you can use up the food you have! Good luck!
