| When my kids were little and I took them to the Pediatrician I was charged for each one. I didn't expect a group discount

Very true. I didn't know vets here did that either,...I thought it was funny, but when they offered it I was happy.

| I knew this would be a post that would get people going. and boy can they get going! I know that I am not being charged for just sitting in their chair, come on. If they would charge me $43 for the visit, I could understand, even though I'd probably still complain of the price. But the bill is broken down: office visit $15.78, exam level 11 $27.95. And no, they don't charge me to walk in and pick up medicine, again, get real. Jus thought I'd make a statement that I don't and haven't agreed to the separate charge. Maybe most vets charge this way. I've been going to this office for 20 years. See, I may complain, but that's all I'm doing. So, I'm done. |

| I just had some human bloodwork done on myself and it cost me 130 dollars and that WITH insurance paying for some . Needless to say..if the vet could take MY blood and only charge me 100 bucks...i'd go to him LoL I just with humans had the same pay scale as the vets !! I love my vet.

| I guess I need to relocate - it is $95 just to walk through the door. They are excellent but again the staring cost is $95 and escalates from there. -pam

| YT Addict | I am not 100% sure but I believe the 'office charge' here is around $28 as well. I am not opposed to this fee, as I know being a vet or vet tech or even a vet assistant isn't a low paying position and they have their mouths to feed too and equipment to stock, but I'd also like to add about how you pay so much price for something (say a vaccine) and to you it can cost like $30 but for them it's only $5 so they may make their profits that way, too? I know it works that way with retail, not sure about medical/veterinary things.
