I am not 100% sure but I believe the 'office charge' here is around $28 as well.

I am not opposed to this fee, as I know being a vet or vet tech or even a vet assistant isn't a low paying position and they have their mouths to feed too and equipment to stock, but I'd also like to add about how you pay so much price for something (say a vaccine) and to you it can cost like $30 but for them it's only $5 so they may make their profits that way, too?

I know it works that way with retail, not sure about medical/veterinary things.
