| First rabies shot tonight...any words of wisdom. Well it's here. her first rabies shot appt. i requested it be given by itself tonight so she has nothing else to deal with but that. we have an appt. with the vet i like best and not the newbie girls that work for him. i'm nervous, but i trust him. they always keep her about an hour because of her size for every shot session, which i appreciate because they watch her for any reactions that are deadly and most show up within the hour. anyways, i'm going at 7pm tonight. anything i should know??? |

| Aww, poor Sadie is gonna get her big girl shot. One thing I always forget is that a few days after the shot, mine get a large, sore bump where the needle went in. I'm always scared by that big bump until I remember 'they had their shot last week'. If she gets a bump it will go away in a few days - it's nothing to worry about. Give her extra lovins from us!

| Jackson didn't have any reactions but I was worried, too. They gave him a Benadryl shot ahead of time just in case.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Hope Sadie is resting after her shot. Mine seem a little sleepy after their shot. I also only give one shot at a time.
