| Help! My new baby isn't interested in food I just posted another post but forgot to mention that my new 14 week old baby that I brought home last night isn't interested in eating. I tried putting some cottage cheese on top of the dry food and she just licked it off. She is very active and lively, so I don't expect hypoglycemia is kicking in. She ate a couple of treats at the vet's office today. She is on Eukanuba for puppies. Is this a good food for life?? Thanks! |

| Luna has the SAME problem. She never eats anything and then one night she will just stuff her face. This is about once a week. She IS hypoglycemic though so I'm hoping both our dogs can grow out of it maybe? Hopefully someone here can help :]

| Hey! I have a picky eater on my hands too! Almost 5 weeks ago, I bought him Nature's Variety Instinct dog food (Nature's Variety) he LOVES it! I highly recommend it! It's an all life stages food, GREAT quality ingredients! NV has the Instinct and Prairie kibbles. Jackson likes the Duck and Turkey flavor the best. Eukanaba is not that great of a food, actually. Check out this site: Dog Food Analysis - Reviews of kibble A few other brands I've known have been good for picky eaters are Wellness, Taste of the Wild.

| Re: Not interested in food How old are your furbabies? It sure does have me worried. On the other end of the spectrum, I've had a 15 year old diabetic cat that I had to give insulin shots twice a day. I'm boiling some chicken breast for baby. I don't want to get her used to cooked food, but I want her to eat. I hope I'm not doing the wrong thing by doing this. It's almost like she is holding out and waiting for something better. haha I hope you can get yours to eat soon. |

| Aww I'm sorry for your cat! Luna is 17 weeks and gets a dose of medicine 3 times a day. My vet said it probably isn't even due to the fact shes not a good eater but thats just going to be part of her life forever. I'm hoping she can grow out of it though :].

| Think I'll try the NV I'll go tomorrow and gradually introduce her to NV. The lady I got her from said the Eukanuba is all she has ever eaten. She may be bored with it. Thanks! |
