| Does Anyone Else give Childrens Benadryll Pills? I switched to benadryll pills bc its easier than giving the liquid. He does not like yogurt and getting the liquid down is difficult. Does anyone else do this? I'm able to sort of split the pills to equal the amount a 4lb 9 oz should take.

| I used to cut up the piils for Becca, but I never really felt the Benadryl was helping her that much. Someone recently recommended Zyrtec & Claritin. Have you ever tried either of those?

| No, but I'll try anything first, rather than going to the vets. He seems to be doing OK for now. I just switched him food. He's eating Orajen Fish,

| Lily has been licking her back end and she doesn't have fleas or worms so maybe it could be some form of allergy and benedryl might help her? |

| If it's under her tail, it may be her anal glands are bothering her & need to be expressed. You said "licking", not "scratching" or "biting"?

| She mostly licks yes. She has had her anal glands emptied at the groomer within the past few weeks and at the vet right before that?? I can't seem to find the anal glands to do it right myself. When the vet did it she really smelled BAD!! Real fishy smelling!! I brought her home and bathed her it was so strong!! |

| A lot of vets will show you how to do it properly yourself. I would take her back in to have them show you how to do it. It sounds like they're bothering her again. With Becca, she could go months without problems, then all of a sudden I'd have to take her every few weeks to have them emptied, then she'd be fine again for months.

| I will take her somewhere here in AZ and have them check her anal glands for me because I had all that done in WV right before I came back out here. I bet they would do that where they groom at Petsmart or somewhere too huh? I think they have a vet there also? THANKS so much for your help!! |
