| Which heartworm preventative. I was wondering which heartworm preventative you use? We currently use Interceptor, but am wondering if Advantix or Frontline would be a better choice. Bandit had 2 ticks once, and we had a potential flea issue, but the vet just thinks a few fleas hopped on at grooming since there was no flea dirt or any other symptoms. Any advice? Thanks |

| I see you've been on here more lately lol Like I think i may have told you, I use Advantix on Jackson! It seems to work sooo much better! He got like 4-5 ticks on Frontline Plus. None since switching to Advantix and it's been like 4 months.

| We're using Advantix as well and it's working great for Jimi We've never had any fleas or ticks It's also pretty reasonable, only $10/month from my vet. Just a word of caution though if you have a cat - it is highly toxic to cats so you must keep your dog & cat separated for 2 hours after applying. hope you find something that works.

| we used Frontline for a couple of years and will not go back to it. We got fleas last year and the frontline did nothing....both our Vet and Groomer said something had changed with frontline and had many complaints that it was not working. We switched to Advantix at the end of last summer and have been VERY pleased with it.

| Okay what do you use for heartworm? Someone said they use a combo for heartworm/fleas/wormer. Anyone else do this? What is it called? |
