I went to buy Cosequin at my local store and it was $75 a bottle!!

This was for the exact same bottle I bought last time, and I know I didn't pay anywhere near that much. Can anyone recommend a good online site to order from?

Sure.

Ingredients:
Glucosamine hydrochloride (derived from shellfish), sodium chondroitin
sulfate (derived from bovine cartilage), gelatin, manganese ascorbate, water, mixed
glycosaminoglycans, magnesium stearate, and sodium lauryl sulfate.
Cosequin Regular Strength (90 capsules)

The sodium lauryl sulfate is what the capsule is made of. It isn't in the actually supplement.

Thanks Crystal. I'm compairing it to the glucosamine chondroitin (people formula) that I give my girls. The main ingredients are the same. hmmm. I'm going to take the ingredients you gave me to a doctor friend of mine that specializes in nutrition and owns several healthfood vitamin stores.

What my vet has prescribed is the Cosequin for cats...it is the correct dosage for a small breed dog.

The best prices is through Amazon.com

It's not actually the ingredients listed that are important. It's where those ingredients are sourced from. Dogs are able to use certain types of glucosamine over other.

I don't, but I may be switching to it since I'm not sure Ellie can take Cosequin anymore. This is the one her vet suggested before I said I wanted to use Cosequin.

Joey's breeder suggested this one, but I'm not sure why, but she did say she had used it on her dogs for a long time. Is Ellie having a problem with Cosequin, I know the human type varies and some brands are very hard on the stomach.

I just found out it contains one of her potential allergens.
