| He is Drooling.... Help! My Tango is drooling constantly when he lays down to sleep. He never drools. This morning his bed was wet from all the drooling. He has not been active today, he just lays down & drools. His nose is also dry.

| I would get him to the vet ASAP. Inactivity and lethargy are not good signs. He may have a fever or infection. Watch that he doesn't go hypoglycemic ...

YorkieTalk Newbie! | Yorkie drooling Three days ago my 8 month old yorkie started drooling when she is sleeping. Where ever she lays is wet and her mouth is wet. There is no odor and she is eating and playing and doing everying else she should be doing. Also, when she is sleeping, all of a sudden she will growl if you go near her mouth. She has been tested for liver shunt and had a chem profile. I'm at a loss and so is the vet right now. Also, how do you start a "thread"? or Topinc? Thanks, Zoe's worried mom and dad |

| The drooling is also a big sign of nausea, sounds like your baby needs to see the vet.

YorkieTalk Newbie! | My 4 yr old yorkie is drooling like crazy, since i brought home a new yorkie yesterday. why? our new yorkie is 8 weeks old, is it because the 4 yr old might be nervous? or excited? Last edited by dekbhart3; 08-13-2013 at 06:36 PM. Reason: added more |

| Hi, welcome to yorkie talk. Drooling can be a sign of nervousness. Has your 4 year old been around other dogs before? Just be very careful having him around the puppy until you know how he will react to the puppy. Is your other puppy a male or female? A helpful hint: When you need help or have a question it is best to start a new thread. I noticed that your other post was added to an older thread so it is getting overlooked. Best of luck with your new puppy.
