I know there are several posts about giving your yorkie fish oil..but we have recently started and were wondering if a few people could tell me how much they give their dog daily or how I could find out how much to give to Cash?

When I used the liquid, I gave Maddie about 1/2 a teaspoon per day. I have quit giving her the liquid b/c it made her a little smelly fish face. LOL

I found a small pill at WalGreens I use.

Well the problem is that some of the pills are the same size are others but they contain different ammounts..like some say 300mg or 1 g.

You can get 3V Caps for SmallDogs & Cats at myvetsmeds.com, but I you believe you need an rx approval from your vet...But these little capsules are perfect for small dogs and cats...you just put a pin hole in each capsule and squeeze it out on their food...I don't use them, as there is fish oil in Apple's food, or else I would, 'cause I think omega 3's are very very very important...My friend w/a yorkie uses them w/her Yorkie...

Shelby & Seymour's food has fish oil in it..... and when Shelby needed to take supplements after her knee surgery, we started her on one that also had fish oil in it........... which caused her to feel really bad. We had to discontinue it and find something else. SO please be careful...... they can get too much fish oil.
