| How often can you feed carrotts and peas? My two furbabies love carrots. I wash and peel the big carrotts and give Bogie the big end and Jada the top part. How often can they have them. I am not sure about the sugar content. They also love sugar snap peas. I know they have a lot of starch..so how often should you feed them the peas. I give veggies as treats and I try to rotate them around so they won't get too much of the same thing. They also love green beans. I give them the frozen veggies and fresh carrotts.

| I don't now either but I give them carrots a lot. I use them as treats sometimes when we are doing tricks/training.

| I like giving veggies as training treats too..not so many calories and you know what is in them. Hope we get an answer soon. I don't want to be giving too much sugar.

| Giving some carrot and peas everyday shouldn't be a problem. Some don't like to give raw carrot because they can be hard to digest and may even be a choking hazard. As long as unsupplemented food doesn't make up more than 10% of their daily diet, it should be just fine.

| I only give whole sticks and sit right with them when they are gnawing on them. It makes a mess because they grate it off and little shavings go everywhere. Do you think its safe. I take it away from them when there is about 3" left so they wont put that last big chunks in their mouths.
