bully sticks in fridge?

I've tried several different bullies for Toby. His Favorite is Merrick, and there price is 3.99 for a 6 inch. He goes through that in 2 days, and the last inch goes in the garbage. So I went to a 11 inch (7.99) Those last about 3 days. (He can only have them when we are home.) Quite an expensive habit.
Last time I was at the hardware store (Agway is where I found these) They had a 36 inch one for 10.99. Dh cut it into 4 pieces with his band saw, and that comes out to about 2.75 apiece.

Hi, I purchase enough for 3 months at a time, and store them in the baggie in cupboard. I have never had any problem with them molding.
I guess they have no moisture, so no mold can grow. If It makes you feel better, I guess you could freeze one and see if the consistancy is the same after it thaws.
