I get my flea products from Entirely Pets. Their prices are great, they ship quickly and have a great reputation. Advantage Flea Control for Dogs | |

![]() I don't have a yorkie, but I'm worried about my puppy and I can't find anything else on FirstShield. I gave it to her today and she woke me up awhile ago throwing up. She threw up all over my room and was shivering. I tried to give her water but she won't drink, and she's trying to sleep, but can't seem to settle down. I'm worried, can anyone else tell me what they did to help their dogs?

How is your pup doing? How old is she? Is your Vet a Banfield Vet at PetSmart? Sometimes they like to sell strictly Banfield Pet Products. Like most of the other posters on this thread I would use K9 Advantix.

![]() Im sorry you are having problems with the use of First Shiled Trio. Two of my dogs have allergies. But of all seven of my dogs none are allergic to First Shield. And with the reactions that I am reading all these dogs are allergic to first shield, not only should you be washing the dog but the symptons of course are not going to go away, you should be giving childrens benedrill. First Shield trio is the only stuff I will ever use, nothing else has ever worked till I started First Shield Trio. I was amazing! and disgusting. My dog was sleeping with me for a nap, when I woke up an hour later my bed was covered with at least 100 fleas and ticks!!! Like I said, that stuff is amazing, and I will never go. Remember if your dog has any reaction at all to any medication, oral or topical, benedrill is the first thing you should give them.

![]() I don't have a Yorkie but found this site searching for information on First Shield. I just gave American Bulldog a dose of the First Shield and he instantly began to drool excessively and became very lethargic. He didn't vomit, but he did not look well either. Thank you, everyone, for all the information posted here.

![]() my American bulldog had a similar reaction, except the vomiting. I plan on returning the stuff to the vet and looking for something else.

![]() I used First ShieldTrio on my Corgi mix about 20 days ago. He vomited the first 2 days, once each day. He has not been as playful and his appetite is about half. There are no fleas or flea dirt. Since applying, he has gotten increasingly itchy skin, and has scratched some areas until the skin is red. I have bathed him and have vet appt. this afternoon. I will never use this product again.
