| Chicken Noodle Soup My poor puppy just hasn't been herself this week. She has an eye infection and the vet just thinks she has a virus that is making her feel a little mopey. Now, I know you aren't supposed to give your yorkies chicken noodle soup--but I am pretty tempted (especially because I am feeling a little ick too). I am going to give her some home made chicken and rice for supper. She didn't really want to eat her breakfast--which is so unlike her, all she wanted to do was eat grass in the back yard. However, she didn't vomitt. What do you do to make your puppies feel better? |

| I've made my kidz "chicken soup". I don't use any seasonings. Boil chicken thighs with carrots. Take out the chicken & carrots to cool & chop the chicken Put brown rice in the broth & cook for...I think it's..45 min Rinse a can of cut green beans, add them & the chicken & carrots to the rice, stir & serve. When you serve yourself add salt & pepper. My "kidz" & hubby love this. |

| I have recently discovered that my babies love egg noodles. The ingredients seem pretty save and simple so I have been boiling up a batch of egg noodles and giving my babies a couple of bites for their bedtime treat. I make enough to last a few days and I just keep them in the refrigerator. Is your girl on an antibiotic? I know some antibiotics will make them loose their appetite. I hope she feels better soon. |

Prissy is just on Anti-biotic eye drops. It is just so weird for her to not want to eat! She is obsessed with food and would eat until she explode if I would let her. So I was a little anxious when she turned down her breakfast! | |

| Turkey is much better than chicken. I buy turkey thighs and put them (four) in the crock pot with about one cup of broth. Also use only fresh or frozen veggies, not the canned.

When I have a headache and need asprin, I have to eat a little somthing before I take the pill Hope she feels better!!

| A scrambled egg or some oatmeal is what works for my kids when they don't feel good. And if all else fails, mashed potatoes has never been refused. Not a lot of nutrition in the potatoes, but at least it's something in their belly.

| I've given Luna low-sodium chicken broth, heated a little, with a little cooked rice in it, when she was feeling icky. She got the kennel cough vaccine (as a puppy) and ended up getting sick from it. The chicken broth seemed to help soothe the cough and i know it made ME feel better to see something get into her tummy. Hope your baby feels better soon
